The History of Ferrari

The beginning of the Supercar

The most famous Ferrari factory was setup in the year 1943, at Maranello and the first vehicle that the unit manufactured, was the 125 S in the year 1947.The vehicle was fitted with 1.5 L V12 engine. The passion of Enzo for racing made the brand popular in the racing circuit, and the brand registered its first win at Le Mans, in the year 1949. The racing brand never looked back after the initial win, and went on winning eight more titles along with the popular Grand Prix title to its credit, in the year 1951. The “Prancing Horse” reached another peak, when it became associated with Formula One racing. The sports car company was partially bought by Fiat Group in 1969, which gave an extra boost to the Ferrari market.

Enzo before his death in 1988 gave the brand its most famous supercar the Ferrari F40. The car was a dream that Enzo fulfilled before he left for the heavenly adobe. Post his death Fiat brought 90% of Ferrari’s stake and continued to launch the supercar series. After the launch of F50 supercar, the makers even focused on producing smaller engine cars like the F355 series with V8 engine. The company won seven Formula 1 championships after it came in touch with the legendary racer Michael Schumacher.

In the millennium year, the company rose to fresh success and launched some super awesome cars that changed the definition of road cars. The Ferrari F 430 was created with 599 front engines, along with the loud V12. The car was followed by the launch of the Ferrari California and Ferrari FF, which were liked by both buyers and critics in equal terms. The foray of the company into the F1 inspired hybrid technology car known as 950bhp LaFerrari hypercar brought greater laurels to the supercar maker during 2015. The brand is known to create some very great cars for racing and riding purpose, whichis a combination of style and speed. The company’s passion and its desire for innovation have made it, the first choice of people in the sports car market. The extensive use of technology in its GT and Formula 1 cars are a representation, that is hard to create and copy. The limited production of the vehicle portrays the quality that it maintains and why it is still the best performing car.
